| This is going to be a annual event here in Dodge City. The Dodge House Shoot-Out Western Costume Contest. This is being held Saturday June 11th and 12th. The Contest is on June 11. Dress up as your favorite character and join the fun competing for prizes and ribbons. Come as a rambunctious saloon girl, a gunfighter cowboy, rugged mountain man, military soldier, lawman, townsman male or female specialty. The historic period is from 1850 to 1899 Victorian/ American wear.
